OUR STORY
We’re more than business partners—we’re best friends with distinct lives and complementary skillsets. Kristin lives in Sydney, managing the fast-paced demands of city life while raising three boys. Julia lives on a farm near Tamworth, where she navigates the unique demands of work, family, and farm life. Despite our different paths, we share a common mission: to create beauty products we can trust for ourselves, our families, and our community.
Our journey began with a personal challenge. Kristin, after more than a decade of enjoying the look of eyelash extensions, recognised the need for a product that could better support the health of her natural lashes. While extensions offered their own beauty benefits, she wanted something that could nourish and strengthen lashes—whether worn naturally or as part of a beauty routine.
Julia brought her expertise in research and media, including six years with The Land newspaper in Tamworth, into the mix. Together, we began brainstorming how we could create a solution—clean, effective, and accessible products that aligned with our values and the needs of everyday people. We started to develop a shared vision to address this gap in the market.
Together, we founded Two Birds Skincare—a brand inspired by our shared commitment to natural, effective solutions that fit a low-tox lifestyle. Our combined skills and motivations have shaped a business philosophy built on trust, transparency, and integrity.
